DAP 7 Star

DAP 7 Star high solubility allows it to dissolve rapidly in the soil, thereby providing readily available phosphate and ammonium for plant uptake. An important characteristic of DAP is the alkaline pH that forms in the vicinity of the dissolving granule, the release of ammonium from dissolving DAP granules can pose a risk to seedlings and plant roots that are in close proximity to the volatile ammonia. This risk is particularly pronounced when the soil pH exceeds 7, a condition frequently observed around the dissolving DAP granules.
